Course Endorsement & Partnership Program

Recognising excellence in generative‑AI education

Generative AI is transforming how the world works and learns. IIGAI's Course Endorsement & Partnership Program helps learners identify high‑quality training and gives trainers, universities and independent providers an internationally respected mark of quality. Unlike traditional accreditation or certification exams, this program uses a light‑touch, scalable model that evaluates the relevance and quality of courses without imposing burdensome regulations. Our aim is to foster an ethical, internationally harmonised ecosystem of generative‑AI learning.

What the program is (and isn't)

✅ What it is

IIGAI's endorsement is a recognition awarded to third‑party generative‑AI courses that meet our quality and relevance benchmarks. It validates that the course content aligns with industry‑relevant competencies, uses effective curricula and teaching methods, and contributes to responsible AI adoption. Research from other training endorsement programs shows how such recognition guides learners toward programs that provide the skills needed for careers and acts as a trusted seal of approval.

❌ What it isn't

Endorsement is not accreditation, certification or licensing. We do not deliver training or invigilate examinations. The program does not guarantee job placement nor regulate providers. It is also not a revenue‑sharing scheme; fees cover the cost of evaluation and are kept deliberately low to remain accessible.

Who should apply?

Our program welcomes applications from the global generative‑AI training community, including:

  • Independent trainers and consultants delivering short courses, workshops or corporate training.
  • Training companies and academies that want to demonstrate the quality of their generative‑AI offerings.
  • Universities, colleges and research institutes offering micro‑credentials, continuing education or executive programs.
  • Industry associations and professional bodies curating specialised generative‑AI courses for their members.

Courses may be online, in‑person or hybrid.

Why seek IIGAI endorsement?

Endorsed courses enjoy practical and reputational benefits similar to other well‑established schemes:

🌍 International credibility

Endorsed programs undergo an evaluation by generative‑AI experts, drawing on evaluation frameworks that emphasise relevance, curriculum effectiveness and impact. This assures learners and employers that the course meets high standards.

👁️ Enhanced visibility

Endorsed courses are listed on IIGAI's global directory and promoted in our newsletters and events. Evidence from other industry associations shows that listing endorsed courses on association websites and newsletters increases visibility and credibility.

🏆 Unique endorsement number & certificate

Each endorsed course receives a unique code, a digital certificate and permission to display the IIGAI endorsement mark on marketing materials.

⚡ Competitive advantage

Endorsed status differentiates your course in a crowded market and signals alignment with responsible AI practices.

💡 Quality feedback

Our review panel provides constructive feedback if a course does not meet the endorsement criteria. In such cases, applicants receive clear guidance on how to improve and resubmit, ensuring transparency and supporting alignment with industry needs.

🤝 Networking & thought leadership

Endorsed partners gain opportunities to collaborate with IIGAI events, contribute to white papers and participate in research.

Endorsement criteria

To ensure a consistent, light‑touch yet rigorous review, we apply criteria derived from best‑practice endorsement programs across industries. We look for evidence that your course:

  1. Relevance to the generative‑AI industry: content must address real‑world applications and emerging skills. Research shows that relevance is a key benchmark.
  2. Effective curriculum and learning outcomes: your syllabus should have clear objectives and well‑targeted content. Guidelines from other professional bodies emphasise that courses should have defined objectives and be well‑targeted.
  3. Trainer competence and ethics: trainers must demonstrate suitable qualifications and professional experience in AI. Leading programs request CVs and evidence of trainer qualifications.
  4. Quality of teaching and resources: materials should support the objectives and be accessible to a diverse, global audience; resources may include case studies, practical exercises or code examples.
  5. Efficiency and learner impact: the course structure should allow learners to achieve outcomes in a reasonable timeframe. Relevant frameworks include efficiency and impact as key metrics.
  6. Program sustainability: how you plan to maintain and update the course to reflect fast‑moving AI developments.
  7. Transportability and accessibility: content should be adaptable across sectors and geographies. Courses should embed ethics, data privacy and inclusivity.
  8. Feedback and quality assurance: you must collect participant feedback and demonstrate how it informs continual improvement.

Providers are not required to become members of IIGAI; however, we encourage trainers to engage with our ethical guidelines and community events.

Fees & pricing

Fees are designed to cover the cost of evaluation and ongoing quality assurance. All amounts are quoted in USD and are valid for one year endorsement.

Course duration Endorsement fee (one-year) Renewal fee (after one year)

Use of the IIGAI endorsement mark & code

Once endorsed, you will receive a digital endorsement certificate, a unique endorsement code and access to the IIGAI endorsement mark. Use is subject to these guidelines:

✅ Permitted use

You may display the endorsement mark and code on course pages, brochures, certificates of completion and related marketing materials for the specific endorsed course. The mark should always appear in close proximity to the course title and accompanied by the unique endorsement code to avoid confusion.

❌ Prohibited use

Do not apply the mark to unendorsed courses, products or unrelated services. Do not use it in a manner that suggests IIGAI delivers the training or guarantees outcomes. Misuse may result in corrective actions or withdrawal of endorsement.

🎨 Design and size

Use the official artwork provided. You may resize the mark but not distort. Colour variations must adhere to the brand guidelines.

⚠️ Withdrawal or suspension

If your endorsement lapses or is withdrawn (e.g., due to non‑compliance or failure to update content), you must immediately remove the mark from all materials and communications.

Global reach & multilingual support

IIGAI welcomes applications from every region. We recognise that generative‑AI talent and innovation are global. Courses may be delivered in any language, but application form details must be submitted in English.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between endorsement and certification?

Endorsement recognises that your course meets our quality benchmarks. It does not confer a professional qualification or certify individual learners.

How long does the process take?

Once the full application and payment are received, reviews typically take 5–7 working days.

Can I submit multiple courses?

Yes. Each course requires a separate application.

Do you evaluate trainers?

We require evidence of trainer qualifications and experience to ensure the credibility and ethical integrity of the program.

What happens if my course content changes?

You must notify us if significant changes (greater than 25 %) are made. Minor updates can be documented in your annual report.

Is the endorsement recognised globally?

IIGAI is an international professional institute. Our endorsement is respected within the AI community but is not a government‑regulated accreditation. Recognition will grow with adoption and the quality of our endorsed courses.

How do I renew my endorsement?

Renewals are straightforward: submit updated documents and course feedback, pay the renewal fee and undergo a shortened review.
